Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Boollm, a desktop AI workspace for Windows, Linux and macOS developed by saz3 Labs. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Boollm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Boollm.
1. Who may use Boollm
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. If you use Boollm for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf. Boollm is a developer and productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
2. License and acceptable use
Subject to these Terms, saz3 Labs grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Boollm for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not use Boollm to violate the law, infringe another person's rights, distribute malware, bypass security controls, gain unauthorized access to systems or data, or interfere with a service or other users. Open-source software included with Boollm remains governed by its applicable license.
3. Your content and responsibilities
You keep ownership of the prompts, files, code, notes, projects, recordings, images, and other content you provide. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use that content and for reviewing actions Boollm performs at your direction. Do not provide secrets or sensitive information to a model, connector, or online service unless you understand and accept that service's data practices. Maintain appropriate backups and safeguards for important files and systems.
4. AI-generated output and automated actions
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, offensive, or unsafe. Similar or identical output may be generated for other users. Boollm does not guarantee that output is correct, unique, non-infringing, or suitable for a particular purpose. Boollm is not a substitute for professional legal, medical, financial, security, or other expert advice.
Boollm can execute commands, modify files, operate permitted pages, and run scheduled or unattended actions when you enable those capabilities. You are responsible for reviewing permissions, destinations, generated output, and important results. Separate confirmations for sensitive actions do not make AI output reliable or transfer responsibility to saz3 Labs.
5. Local and connected features
Boollm has no saz3 Labs account or sync service. Many features operate locally on your computer. Optional connected features may communicate with third parties, including AI providers, model hosts, websites, Google or Microsoft account services, email services, connectors, and software-distribution services. Your use of those services is also governed by their terms, retention, charges, and privacy policies.
Boollm is distributed in more than one form and they do not all carry the same features. No private code or developer login can enable a feature in an edition that does not ship it. The Microsoft Store edition does not include Automations, Monitors, Browser & Passwords or its Chrome extension, or Avatar Studio.
The Linux edition runs local models on your CPU by default. It can also use cloud model providers with your own API key, the Codex and Claude Code engines, Cloudflare, cloud hosting and email sign-in. It does not include Automations, Monitors, Browser & Passwords or Avatar Studio. LAN Cluster is limited to the pairing and workers described in the app. The Mac App Store edition runs in the macOS App Sandbox; it includes Home Cluster, cloud model providers with your own API key and the bundled Codex coding engine, and like the Microsoft Store edition it does not include Automations, Monitors or Avatar Studio; it also does not include a terminal, the Claude Code coding engine, or Browser & Passwords. Components included with the Mac edition that are licensed under the GNU General Public License, such as git, are licensed to you under that license, and nothing in these terms or in the App Store terms limits the rights it grants; their source code is included in the app.
Snip and screen recording are available in Linux builds that include them and on desktops with compatible screenshot and screen-sharing portals. You choose the source in your desktop's permission dialog. Linux screen recordings contain video only, not microphone or system audio. Capture files remain local unless you deliberately copy, attach, export or share them. Review captured content and obtain any permissions needed before recording or sharing it. Capability and permission limitations are shown in the app; availability is not guaranteed on every Linux desktop. Snap installations require a compatible unlocked desktop keyring and the documented keyring and Chromium-sandbox permissions.
Features absent from one edition may remain available in the separate direct-download release, where camera/screen capture, website automation, local password storage, and third-party generative-video use require the permissions and consent described in the app and Privacy Policy.
6. Google-connected features
Gmail and Google Cloud developer connections are optional and separate. Review the permissions shown by Google before authorizing. You must use Google data lawfully and with appropriate authority. Use of Google-connected features is also subject to Google's applicable terms and policies.
7. Privacy
The Privacy Policy at https://boollm.com/privacy describes information stored locally, information sent to selected third parties, security measures, edition differences, retention, and user controls. It forms part of these Terms.
8. Updates and feature changes
Microsoft Store installations receive application updates through Microsoft Store. Snap installations receive updates through snapd and the Snap Store. Direct-download editions may use a separately signed and verified installer. Features may be improved, limited, removed, or made edition-specific for safety, provider compatibility, legal compliance, or Store certification.
9. No warranty
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SOFTWARE AND CONNECTED FEATURES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. SAZ3 LABS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT BOOLLM OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE, SECURE, AVAILABLE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SUITABLE FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BOOLLM, SAZ3 LABS, AND ITS DEVELOPERS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE. IF LIABILITY IS FOUND DESPITE THIS LIMITATION, TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR BOOLLM IN THE 30 DAYS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
11. Termination and general terms
This license terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination, you must stop using and uninstall the Software. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and applicable Store terms form the agreement between you and saz3 Labs regarding Boollm.
